This page shows all available payment methods on the platform. Each method can be enabled or disabled on your account depending on your profile type and verification status.

🏪 Polar — Merchant of Record
For everyone · Individuals & businesses worldwide

The default payment method for all users. Polar acts as our Merchant of Record — they handle payment processing, VAT calculation, receipts, and compliance. Available to individuals and businesses worldwide. VAT is calculated automatically based on your billing address — different countries have different VAT rates. When you click Buy Now, a secure pop-up opens where you fill in your details and pay by card. Your card goes to Polar — we never see it.

💳 Stripe — Direct Card Payment
EU businesses only · Reverse charge invoicing

Available only to businesses registered in the European Union with a valid VAT number. Stripe processes the payment directly — no VAT is added because invoices are issued with reverse charge. Your business accounts for VAT in your own country. Payment is instant — units appear immediately in your account.

To activate: Go to My Profile, fill in your business details (company name, VAT number, address), then email billing@academy250.com to request Stripe activation. We verify your VAT number against the EU VIES database — allow up to 5 business days.

🏦 Bank Transfer — Wire Payment
Registered businesses worldwide (except US) · Reverse charge for EU

Available to registered businesses worldwide except the United States. EU businesses receive reverse charge invoices (no VAT added). Non-EU businesses receive invoices without VAT. Payment happens via wire transfer — you request a payment link, we send you a proforma invoice and bank details by email, you transfer the amount, and once confirmed your units are credited. Processing takes 1–3 business days.

To activate: Go to My Profile, fill in your business details (company name, VAT number, address), then email billing@academy250.com to request Bank Transfer activation. We verify your business details — allow up to 5 business days.

🔄 Enabled vs Disabled — What it means
✅ Enabled
The payment method is active on your account. You can use it to buy Usage Packs. Click the card to go to the purchase page for that method.
❌ Disabled
The payment method is not active. This can be because: you haven't requested activation yet (Stripe, Bank Transfer), your business details are not verified, or the method was disabled for a specific reason (see the method's page for details).

Check which methods are enabled on your account. Polar is active by default for everyone.

If you're an individual — use Polar. It's ready to go, no setup needed. Click the Polar card to see the Usage Packs.

If you're an EU business — you can also activate Stripe and/or Bank Transfer for reverse charge invoicing. Go to My Profile, fill in your business details, then email billing@academy250.com.

If you're a non-EU business — you can activate Bank Transfer for wire payments without VAT. Same process: My Profile → email billing@academy250.com.

Important: All payment methods result in the same Usage Packs and the same Project Units. There is no difference in what you get — only in how you pay and how VAT is handled. Choose the method that fits your accounting needs.

Tip: Not sure which method to use? If you're buying for yourself — use Polar, it's the simplest. If your company's accounting department needs reverse charge invoices — activate Stripe or Bank Transfer. You can have multiple methods enabled at the same time and use whichever suits each purchase.
