🔗 Connection Requests
This page shows every project invitation sent to you by other users. These are not friend requests — they are invitations to join a specific project with a specific role. Nothing connects until you decide.
On this platform, users don't "follow" each other or become "friends." Connections happen at the project level. Another user invites you to join their specific project with a specific role (e.g. Member, Viewer, Contributor).
The invitation arrives here and waits until you act. No connection starts automatically — ever. You review the invitation, see who sent it, which project it's for, what role you'd have, and then you decide: ✅ Accept or ❌ Reject.
Once you accept, you gain access to that specific project only — not to the sender's account, not to their other projects, not to other users inside the project beyond their usernames and what they post within the project.

When you have pending invitations, they appear here
highlighted with a yellow background. Each invitation card shows:
📁 Project name — the name of the project you're invited to
(e.g. "3D Printing Basics").
👤 From — the username of the person who sent the invitation.
🏷️ Role — the role you'd have in the project
(e.g. Member).
📅 Sent — when the invitation was sent.
🟡 Status badge — shows
Pending on the right.
⬇️ Two action buttons at the bottom of each card:
✅ Accept (green) — join the project with the assigned role.
❌ Reject (red outline) — decline the invitation.
If there are no pending invitations, it shows
"No pending invitations" with an empty state icon.
A log of all invitations — past and present.
Each entry shows the same details as the pending card
(project name, sender, role, date) plus the final status.
➡️ Filter tabs on the top right:
All (all invitations),
Accepted (ones you approved),
and Rejected (ones you declined).
Click any tab to filter the list.
If there are no invitations at all, it shows "No invitations found."
The invitation is declined. No connection is created. You don't get access to the project, and the sender is notified that the invitation was rejected. The rejection is recorded in your Invitation History and in the project's ledger. The sender can send a new invitation later if they wish.
Accepted invitations move to the My Connections page
(next page in the sidebar). From there you can:
👁️ View all your active project connections.
🏷️ Update your role within a project (if allowed).
🗑️ Disconnect from a project — you lose access immediately
and the disconnection is logged in the project ledger.
Everything you do in My Connections is also recorded
in the project's audit trail.
