1. Scope & Application
1.1 This AUP applies to all users of the Academy250 platform, including Primary Account Holders, Makers aged 16–17 with parental consent, Dependent Account holders (under 16), and any individual who accesses or interacts with the Platform in any capacity.
1.2 Primary Account Holders are responsible for ensuring that all Dependent Account holders linked to their account comply with this AUP. Violations by a Dependent Account holder may result in enforcement action against the Primary Account Holder's account.
1.3 By creating an account or using any Academy250 service, you agree to comply with this AUP. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
1.4 In this AUP, capitalised terms have the same meaning as defined in the Terms of Service unless stated otherwise.
2. General Conduct
2.1 You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and these policies. Academy250 is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform providing digital tools for project-based making, including Project Templates and AI Wizards. It must be used accordingly.
2.2 You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including activity by Dependent Account holders linked to your Primary Account. Primary Account Holders must ensure that all linked Dependent Account holders comply with this AUP.
2.3 You agree to act in good faith, treat other users and our support team with respect, and use the Platform in a manner consistent with its intended purpose.
2.4 When participating in team communication within projects, you must maintain respectful and constructive communication. This applies to all users, including Dependent Account holders.
3. Platform Purpose & Intended Use
Academy250 is built for makers — people who learn by building. The Platform provides structured project guides, digital tools, and AI-powered assistance for hands-on creation.
3.1 Intended for: Independent makers, hobbyists, builders, learners, and anyone working on personal or educational projects — including 3D printing, electronics, drones, woodworking, coding, and any hands-on creation.
3.2 Acceptable use includes:
- Following Project Templates to build and learn
- Using AI Wizards for project planning, design assistance, and problem-solving
- Tracking project progress, materials, and documentation

3.3 Account model: Individual accounts (one account per person). Primary Account Holders (18+) may create and manage Dependent Accounts for minors. All purchases are made by the Primary Account Holder or by individual Makers (18+ or 16–17 with parental consent).
3.4 All projects must be legal. Any project you plan, document, or execute using the Platform must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction. The Platform provides tools and guides — it is your responsibility to ensure that what you build and how you build it is lawful, safe, and in compliance with local regulations.
4. Platform Content & Disclaimer
Academy250 provides tools, content, libraries, Project Templates, and AI Wizards. This section explains what that content is — and what it is not.
4.1 Content provided "as is". All content available on the Platform — including Project Templates, educational libraries, tutorial materials, knowledge bases, procedures, process guides, AI-generated outputs, and downloadable resources — is provided "as is" and "as available" for informational and educational purposes. We make no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, suitability, or timeliness of any content.
4.2 Not professional advice. Platform content does not constitute and must not be relied upon as professional, legal, financial, medical, engineering, safety, or regulatory advice. Content is designed to guide, educate, and inspire — not to replace qualified professional judgement. If your project involves safety-critical decisions, regulatory compliance, or professional liability, you must consult a qualified professional in the relevant field.
4.3 Guides, not instructions. Project Templates and educational content on the Platform are guides and reference materials. They describe approaches, techniques, and methods that have worked in specific contexts. They are not guaranteed to produce the same results in your context. Variables including your tools, materials, environment, skill level, and local regulations may affect outcomes. You must exercise your own judgement when applying any content from the Platform.
4.4 AI-generated content. The Platform includes AI Wizards that generate text, suggestions, and analysis based on your inputs. AI-generated output may contain errors, inaccuracies, omissions, or biases. You are solely responsible for reviewing, validating, and deciding whether to act on any AI-generated output. AI Wizards are productivity tools — they do not replace human expertise, professional judgement, or critical thinking.
4.5 Third-party references. Platform content may reference third-party products, services, brands, tools, or techniques (e.g. specific 3D printer models, software tools, electronic components). These references are for informational and educational purposes only and do not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee. We are not affiliated with, and bear no responsibility for, third-party products or services mentioned in Platform content.
4.6 Your responsibility. By using the Platform and its content, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You are responsible for evaluating the suitability of any content, Project Template, or AI output for your specific situation
- You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards when acting on Platform content
- You are responsible for any outcomes, including physical, financial, or legal consequences, resulting from your use of Platform content
- You will not hold Em.Skoulikaris LLC liable for any loss, injury, damage, or claim arising from your reliance on Platform content
4.7 Content updates. We may update, modify, or remove Platform content at any time without notice. Content that was available at the time of your purchase or access may be modified or removed in subsequent updates. Premium Library content is maintained for the duration described in the Terms of Service, but specific details within the content may be updated to reflect current best practices.
5. Educational Content & Intellectual Property
Academy250 invests significant effort in creating Project Templates, educational processes, and reference materials. This section explains what you may and may not do with that content.
5.1 Our educational content is protected. All Project Templates, educational processes, step-by-step guides, tutorial sequences, curriculum structures, library content, downloadable files, resource packs, and any other educational material available on the Platform (collectively, "Educational Content") is the intellectual property of Em.Skoulikaris LLC and is protected under applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
5.2 What you may do. Your Usage Pack grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to:
- Access and study Educational Content on the Platform
- Follow Project Templates to build your own projects
- Download project files and resources for your personal, non-commercial use
- Keep and use any physical or digital output that you create by following a Project Template (the thing you build is yours)
5.3 What you may not do. You must not:
- Redistribute — copy, republish, share, upload, or distribute Educational Content (in whole or in part) on any other platform, website, social media, or file-sharing service
- Resell — sell, license, or monetise Educational Content, including repackaging it as your own course, tutorial, or educational product
- Reproduce the process — replicate the structure, sequence, or methodology of a Project Template or educational process to create a competing product or service
- Screen-record or extract — systematically capture, screen-record, scrape, or extract Educational Content from the Platform for offline redistribution
- Remove attribution — remove, obscure, or alter any copyright notices, watermarks, or attribution marks on Educational Content or downloaded files
5.4 Your creations are yours. When you follow a Project Template and build something — whether it's a physical object, a circuit, a 3D print, a piece of code, or any other output — that creation belongs to you. The licence to Educational Content does not restrict your ownership of the things you make. However, the underlying Project Template, process, and educational material remain the intellectual property of Em.Skoulikaris LLC.
5.5 Sharing your work. You are free to share, publish, sell, or display the projects you build using Platform guidance. You may credit Academy250 as a source of inspiration or guidance, but you must not imply that Academy250 endorses, certifies, or guarantees your work.
5.6 Enforcement. Violation of these intellectual property rules is a material breach of the Terms of Service and may result in immediate account termination, forfeiture of all remaining Project Units, and legal action including claims for damages under applicable copyright law.
6. Project Execution & Physical Safety
6.1 You execute at your own risk. Academy250 provides digital guides, Project Templates, and AI-assisted planning tools. We do not supervise, control, or participate in the physical execution of any project. When you follow a Project Template and build something in the real world, you do so entirely at your own risk and under your own responsibility.
6.2 No liability for project outcomes. Em.Skoulikaris LLC is not liable for any loss, injury, damage, expense, or claim of any kind — whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential — arising from or connected to:
- The physical execution of any project guided by Platform content
- The use, misuse, or modification of any project output (physical or digital) that you create
- Damage to tools, equipment, materials, or property during project execution
- Personal injury sustained during project execution
- Failure of a project to achieve its intended result
- Use of a completed project in a manner not anticipated by the Project Template
- Any regulatory, legal, or compliance issue arising from a project you build
6.3 Your obligations when building. When executing any project guided by Platform content, you agree to:
- Assess the risks involved before starting and take appropriate precautions
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by the activity
- Follow all manufacturer instructions for tools, equipment, and materials you use
- Comply with all applicable local, national, and EU safety regulations and building codes
- Ensure that any project involving minors (Dependent Account holders) is supervised by a responsible adult
- Not undertake any project that you are not qualified or equipped to execute safely
6.4 Projects involving minors. If a Dependent Account holder follows a Project Template that involves physical activities, the Primary Account Holder is responsible for ensuring adequate adult supervision and age-appropriate safety measures. Academy250 does not assess or guarantee the suitability of any project for a specific age group — this is the Primary Account Holder's responsibility.
6.5 Projects must be legal. All projects planned, documented, or executed using the Platform must be lawful in your jurisdiction. You must not use the Platform to plan, design, document, or facilitate any project that:
- Violates any applicable law or regulation
- Is intended to cause harm to persons, animals, or property
- Involves the creation of weapons, controlled substances, or restricted devices
- Infringes third-party intellectual property rights
- Circumvents safety regulations, export controls, or product certification requirements
6.6 Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Em.Skoulikaris LLC from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your execution of any project or the use of any project output, including claims from third parties who are injured or harmed by a project you build. This indemnification is in addition to the general indemnification clause in the Terms of Service, Section 19.

You must not use the Platform to engage in, facilitate, or support any of the following activities:
7.1 Illegal or harmful activity
- Violating any applicable local, national, EU, or international law or regulation

7.3 Reverse engineering & extraction
- Reverse-engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or otherwise attempting to discover the source code, algorithms, or architecture of any Platform component
- Scraping, crawling, or systematically extracting data from the Platform using automated tools without our prior written consent
- Copying, reproducing, or creating derivative works from Platform features, design, or Educational Content
7.4 Resale & unauthorised distribution
- Reselling, sublicensing, renting, leasing, or otherwise commercialising Platform access to third parties

8. AI Wizard Usage Rules
8.1 The Platform includes AI Wizards that consume Project Units from your AI Compute pool. These features are provided as productivity and learning aids and are subject to the following additional rules.
8.2 You must not use AI Wizards to:
- Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or discriminatory
- Generate content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, and patents
- Generate deceptive or misleading content, including deepfakes, fake reviews, impersonation content, or disinformation
- Generate spam, unsolicited commercial messages, or bulk automated communications
- Circumvent content safety filters or guardrails built into the AI models
- Attempt to extract or reconstruct the underlying AI model weights, training data, or system prompts
- Generate designs or plans for illegal projects, weapons, controlled substances, or restricted devices
- Use AI output to make automated decisions that materially affect individuals without human review
8.3 You acknowledge that AI-generated output may contain errors, inaccuracies, or biases. You are solely responsible for reviewing, validating, and deciding whether to rely on any AI-generated output. AI Wizards do not replace professional judgement, legal advice, financial advice, medical advice, engineering expertise, or any other professional service.
8.4 AI Wizards and minors. Dependent Account holders may use AI Wizards if their Primary Account Holder has not restricted access. Primary Account Holders are responsible for determining whether AI Wizard access is appropriate for their Dependent Account holders.
8.5 We reserve the right to limit, modify, or discontinue specific AI Wizard features at any time, including adjusting consumption rates, applying rate limits, or restricting access to certain AI operations where we determine that usage patterns threaten Platform stability or violate this AUP.
9. Project Unit Integrity
9.1 Usage Packs provide metered access to Platform services. Project Units are service-consumption measurements only. They are not currency, stored value, e-money, or financial instruments of any kind.
9.2 You must not:
- Circumvent, manipulate, or attempt to bypass usage metering, quota limits, or any access controls
- Exploit bugs, errors, or vulnerabilities to obtain service access without a corresponding deduction from your Project Units
- Use automated tools, scripts, or bots to artificially inflate, deflate, or otherwise manipulate consumption records
- Attempt to trade, sell, auction, or create a secondary market for Project Units
- Advertise, represent, or treat Project Units as having monetary value outside the Platform
- Transfer, gift, or share Project Units between unrelated accounts
9.3 Any attempt to undermine Project Unit integrity is a material breach of the Terms of Service and may result in immediate account termination, forfeiture of all remaining Project Units, and, where applicable, legal action.
10. Content Standards
10.1 You retain ownership of all Content you upload, create, or store on the Platform, as described in the Terms of Service, Section 13. However, all Content must comply with this AUP.
10.2 You must not upload, create, store, or transmit through the Platform any Content that:
- Violates any applicable law or regulation
- Infringes the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party
- Contains personal data of third parties without a lawful basis under GDPR or other applicable data protection legislation
- Is defamatory, obscene, threatening, harassing, or promotes violence or discrimination
- Contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code
- Is deceptive or designed to mislead
- Is inappropriate for an environment that includes minors (given that Dependent Account holders may participate in team communication)
10.3 We do not pre-screen Content, but we reserve the right to review, remove, or disable access to Content that we reasonably believe violates this AUP, the Terms of Service, or applicable law. We will notify you if we take action against your Content, except where notification is prohibited by law or would compromise an investigation.
11. Security & System Integrity
11.1 You must take reasonable steps to protect your account credentials and prevent unauthorised access. This includes:
- Not sharing login credentials with unauthorised individuals
- Notifying us immediately at security@academy250.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account
- Using strong, unique passwords where supported
- Logging out of sessions on shared or public devices
11.2 You must not:
- Test Platform security or attempt penetration testing without prior written authorisation from Em.Skoulikaris LLC

11.3 Responsible disclosure. If you discover a security vulnerability, we encourage responsible disclosure. Please report it to security@academy250.com and allow us reasonable time to investigate and patch the issue before disclosing it publicly. We will not take legal action against individuals who discover and report vulnerabilities in good faith and in accordance with this responsible disclosure provision.
12. Reporting, Enforcement & Changes
12.1 Reporting violations. If you become aware of any activity that violates this AUP, please report it to security@academy250.com. Include as much detail as possible. Reports can be submitted anonymously, although providing your contact information helps us follow up. We will not retaliate against any user who submits a good-faith report.
12.2 Enforcement. If we determine that a violation has occurred, we may, at our sole discretion, take one or more of the following actions:
- Warning — a written notice identifying the violation and requiring immediate corrective action
- Content removal — removal or disabling of Content that violates this AUP
- Feature restriction — limiting your access to specific Platform features
- Temporary suspension — suspending your account for a specified period
- Permanent termination — terminating your account in accordance with the Terms of Service, Section 20
- Forfeiture of Project Units — forfeiture of all remaining Project Units without refund
- Legal action — pursuing civil or criminal remedies where applicable
12.3 Dependent Account violations. If a Dependent Account holder violates this AUP, enforcement action may be taken against the Dependent Account, the Primary Account Holder's account, or both, depending on the nature and severity of the violation. The Primary Account Holder will be notified of any enforcement action involving their Dependent Accounts.
12.4 Proportionality. The severity of enforcement action will be proportionate to the nature, frequency, and impact of the violation. Minor or first-time violations will typically receive a warning with an opportunity to correct the behaviour. Serious violations — including any attempt to undermine Project Unit integrity, gain unauthorised access, redistribute Educational Content, or engage in illegal activity — may result in immediate termination without prior warning.
12.5 Legal reporting. Where we are required by law to report illegal activity to law enforcement or regulatory authorities, we will do so. We may also cooperate with law enforcement investigations and disclose information as required by applicable law or valid legal process.
12.6 Changes to this AUP. We may update this AUP from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or best practices. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice via email and/or a prominent notice on the Platform. The current version of this AUP is always available at academy250.com/acceptable-use.
