Overview

What is the Event Log?

While the Project Calendar shows what’s coming in the future, the Event Log records what has already happened. Every change, update, and action inside the project is tracked here — giving you a full audit trail of your project’s history.

Full History

Every action and change made inside the project is recorded automatically. Nothing gets lost.

Day-by-Day View

Click on any day in the calendar grid to open a pop-up with the full log of that specific date.

Accountability

Know who did what and when. Ideal for reviews, retrospectives, and keeping the team aligned.

The concept

How it works

The Event Log uses the same calendar grid layout you already know. Days with recorded activity are marked, and clicking on a day reveals the full list of events for that date.

event-log
Calendar Grid ..... monthly view — days with activity are highlighted
└─ Day Pop-up ...... click a day → see all events for that date
└─ Log Entry ..... individual change or action recorded
Tip: Think of it as the project’s diary. The Calendar looks forward (what’s planned), the Event Log looks backward (what’s happened).
Comparison

Calendar vs Event Log

Both use a calendar view, but they serve opposite purposes.

Project Calendar
Looks forward. Shows what’s scheduled, what’s coming, and when deadlines are due. You create events here.
Event Log
Looks backward. Records what already happened — changes, updates, and actions. Entries are created automatically.
